This is a full-time Associate Consultant role at International Business Machines, anticipated to start in 2026, with positions available in Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; and Dallas, TX. IBM Consulting, through its world-class Associates Program for university hires, collaborates closely with clients worldwide to improve their hybrid cloud and AI journey. This role is crucial for assisting clients in the selection, implementation, and support of Oracle Cloud application solutions to address their constantly evolving technical and business needs. What You’ll Actually Do
• Solution Support: Assist clients in the selection, implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle Cloud packaged software solutions.
• Strategic Guidance: Make strategic recommendations and leverage business knowledge to drive Oracle-based solutions for clients and their management.
• Session Facilitation: Facilitate or support workshops, design sessions, and stakeholder interviews to gather requirements.
• Process Mapping: Develop process maps to understand As-Is and To-Be scenarios across ERP, HCM, SCM, EPM, or CX.
• AI Application: Apply AI responsibly to summarize documentation, generate test cases, or support analysis.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree; entry-level position for university hires in a consulting environment focused on Oracle Cloud applications.
• Experience: Openness to assist clients in the design, business architect, process development, functional implementation, and support of applications; a strong ability to thrive in an ever-changing, technology-based consulting environment; willingness to travel up to 100%.
• Skills: Ability to translate business solutions into technical requirements, exceptional quantitative analysis skills, and the ability to derive data-backed recommendations; strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the potential to inspire and guide others without formal authority; a collaborative mindset that values input and drives collective success.
• Bonus: Majors in MIS, Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field; coursework, capstones, part-time jobs, internships or other experiences related to business processes in Finance (ERP), HR (HCM), Supply Chain (SCM), or Planning/Analytics (EPM); strong spreadsheet and data skills; basic SQL or scripting is a plus; client-facing internships, consulting clubs, strong process orientation, and documentation skills; ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
