What You’ll Actually Do
• SEC Reporting: Assist in preparing and filing SEC reports, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K.
• External Reporting: Support earnings releases and other external financial reporting requirements.
• Transaction Processing: Prepare and post journal entries for routine accounting transactions.
• Compliance & Research: Research basic accounting issues and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Financial Documentation: Assist with preparing financial statement disclosures and supporting documentation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field. Possesses basic knowledge of U.S. GAAP or applicable accounting principles, along with an understanding of financial statements and accounting fundamentals.
• Experience: No previous accounting experience is required for this role.
• Skills: Demonstrates strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills and the capacity to work effectively within a collaborative corporate environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is also required.
• Bonus: Internship or academic project experience in accounting or finance. Displays an interest in SEC reporting, external reporting, and technical accounting, coupled with familiarity with financial reporting and corporate accounting processes.
