• Mission: Ensure the effective and compliant functioning of global market operations by overseeing Forex and Money Market transactions and supporting team processes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Oversight: Oversee daily Forex and Money Market operations as a checker, ensuring accurate and timely transaction processing, confirmations, and payments.
• Workflow Monitoring: Support the Team Lead in monitoring daily processing tasks such as Deal Booking Control, Fund Settlement, Financial Booking, and Post-Deal Control for smooth departmental workflow.
• Regulatory Adherence: Assist in supervising routine global market settlement operations, ensuring strict adherence to internal strategies, policies, AML guidelines, and other regulatory requirements including HKMA-RMS.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Team Lead to regularly review and enhance operational procedures, aiming to improve overall efficiency and productivity within the team.
• Reporting & Compliance: Prepare ad-hoc reports and participate in special projects as assigned, ensuring all processes meet required standards and service quality is upheld according to Service Legal Agreements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Tertiary education or above, with a deep appreciation for regulatory compliance frameworks relevant to global markets.
• Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of proven experience working within global market operations or similar environments.
• Skills: Comprehensive understanding of global market products, up-to-date awareness of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements, proficiency in computer applications (especially advanced Excel), excellent communication abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and fluency in both Cantonese and English.
• Bonus: An analytical mindset for identifying areas for process enhancement and adaptability to evolving priorities or new project assignments.
