The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Lazer Logistics, a company dedicated to optimizing customer logistics through safe and efficient yard operations. The Assistant Site Manager is a key member of the Field Operations team, working in close partnership with the Site Manager to ensure seamless site functionality. This position is vital for maintaining high service standards, supporting day-to-day operations, and fostering the professional growth of frontline staff. We are looking for a proactive, hands-on operator who thrives in a team environment and is committed to delivering consistent, high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Pay: $78000–$81900 yearly
• Team: Member of the Field Operations team, partnering with and supporting the Site Manager.
• Mission: Supports safe and efficient yard operations, reinforces high service standards, and helps develop talent to ensure consistent customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Execution: Support the Site Manager in monitoring performance metrics, identifying process improvements, assisting with issue resolution that impacts service levels, and conducting equipment inspections to ensure good working conditions.
• Daily Driving & Safety: Drive a minimum of 30 hours per week, monitor employee adherence to safety standards, and report all maintenance issues to the Site Manager for vendor coordination and resolution.
• People Development: Assist in training, managing, recruiting, hiring, team building, and mentoring drivers and site-level staff to foster a high-performing and collaborative team.
• Customer Relationship Management: Attend customer meetings alongside the Site Manager to help maintain positive customer relationships and ensure that all employees consistently provide the highest level of service.
• Team Leadership & Compliance: Lead by example by living our core values, fostering communication, collaboration, diversity, inclusion, and innovation within a productive team environment, while staying aware of industry regulations and market trends.

• Background: A hands-on, team-oriented operator who is dedicated to supporting safe and efficient yard operations within a field operations environment.
• Experience: Proven ability to effectively support frontline execution, develop talent, and contribute to delivering consistent, high-quality service and customer satisfaction. This includes experience with equipment checks, safety compliance, and maintenance escalation processes.
• Skills: Strong capabilities in operational monitoring, equipment inspection, safety standard adherence, team training and management, positive customer relations, and maintaining awareness of industry regulations.
