The TL;DR

• Pay: $45000–$55000 yearly
• Mission: This person plans and executes equipment and asset utilization strategies to ensure efficient transportation solutions and manages key accounts.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategy Execution: Plan and execute the Peak Season equipment strategy and the RXO IMDL asset utilization strategy.
• Account Management: Manage and grow Trailer Repo Solution accounts, acting as a liaison between vendors and carriers.
• Project Oversight: Own all procurement, capacity planning, and execution for assigned regional projects from dispatch to final settlement.
• Operational Coordination: Align Small Package Intermodal with existing RXO IMDL loads and coordinate with the scheduling team for equipment forecasting and reservations.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve internal and external operational issues with a sense of urgency, escalating problems to the correct parties as needed.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience is required, along with 1 year of experience in transportation or logistics.
• Experience: The role requires practical experience in executing asset utilization strategies and managing logistics operations from inception to settlement.
• Skills: Essential skills include planning and executing equipment strategies, managing procurement and capacity, problem-solving, and providing customer service.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include 1 year of sales or customer service experience, 1+ year of Peak Season experience, and the ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion within authorized limits.
