Animation Intern | The Monument

This is an unpaid, remote internship at The Monument. The company focuses on bringing visuals and narratives to life through creative design and motion. This role is essential for supporting the development of compelling visual content and contributing to various projects across the organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Assist: Help bring visuals and narratives to life through animation.
• Contribute: Assist with developing ideas and visual concepts.
• Collaborate: Work with the Creative Director on visuals and motion designs.
• Organize: Keep working files neatly organized in server folders.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student seeking to fulfill school or university internship requirements; possesses an understanding of animation processes and pipelines.
• Experience: Working knowledge of animation software including After Effects, C4D, 3DS Max, Maya, or Houdini; legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability in 2D or 3D animation skills such as modeling, shading, lighting, and compositing; an artistic and observant eye for detail; understanding of design, typography, and composition.
• Bonus: Interest in design and boarding concepts; familiarity with additional software like Illustrator, Photoshop, Unreal Engine, Vray, Redshift, or Corona.
