The Tone:
This is a part-time role at Chi-Chack LLC, located in Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. Founded in 2007, Chi-Chack specializes in supporting government clients with effective training, education, program management, and operational solutions to enhance mission success. The Exercise/Role Play Director role is crucial for enhancing education and training by providing and directing role players during practical exercises for Air Advisors and other airmen who engage with partner nation counterparts. This position helps prepare airmen for critical missions supporting Combatant Commands and various security cooperation initiatives.

• Mission: The Exercise/Role Play Director enhances education and training by providing and directing role players during practical exercises for Air Advisors and other airmen who engage with partner nation counterparts.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop Exercises: Develop, plan, coordinate, execute, and manage comprehensive Air Advisor-centric exercises to evaluate student knowledge and application of Advisor Core Skills and Cross-Cultural Competencies.
• Manage Environments: Develop and manage fictional partner nation environments, including detailed bios, backstory, and character studies for multiple roles.
• Direct Role Players: Manage and direct role players on appropriate behavior and actions required in their role to achieve desired responses from students.
• Coordinate Logistics: Coordinate with the Site Manager and Course Director on role player numbers and languages, and with AA Flight leadership to schedule appropriate training areas and ranges.
• Integrate Learning: Coordinate with academic and fieldcraft instructors to integrate learning objectives from all classes into practical scenario exercises in both field and classroom settings.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Director-level professional with expertise in military advisory and security cooperation activities.
• Experience: Shall have deployed as a Military Advisor, Political-Military (Pol-Mil) Affairs Strategists (PAS) Officer, Regional Affairs Strategists (RAS) Officer, Foreign Area Officer (FAO), Foreign Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) member, attaché or security assistance officer (SCO), or in an equivalent military advisory position. Requires practical knowledge of air advising activities, experience developing, planning, and executing military practical exercises, and experience as an observer/controller/evaluator for complex military exercises.
• Skills: Exercise development and management, scenario-based training design, role player direction, and understanding of Advisor Core Skills and Cross-Cultural Competencies.
