About the Job

Endicott College is seeking Adjunct Faculty Members for its Homeland Security Graduate Program. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with experience in Homeland Security to contribute to a bustling campus community located approximately 20 miles north of Boston in Beverly, MA. The College offers free parking and is accessible by commuter rail on the Newburyport/Rockport line, providing a scenic seaside locale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach in person on campus in Beverly, MA.
  • Adhere to Endicott’s academic policies.
  • Utilize course descriptions and uphold learning outcomes for each course.
  • Employ Canvas as the primary learning management system for courses.
  • Meet deadlines for roster verification and timely submission of grades.
  • Maintain open communication with the Associate Dean regarding any arising issues.
  • Be available to meet with students who request assistance or require clarification on course-related matters.
  • Provide samples of student work for assessment purposes when requested.
  • Use the official Endicott email address for all student communications.

Courses Available

The program is seeking faculty to teach courses in the following areas:

  • Emergency Management courses (Tuesdays or Wednesdays, 6-9 pm)
  • Graduate Writing and Capstone (Wednesdays, 6-9 pm)

Qualifications

  • Education: A minimum of a Master’s degree is required. A Ph.D. is preferred.
  • Experience: Must have worked in the field of Homeland Security. College-level teaching experience is strongly preferred.
