The Tone:

• Pay: $40000–$50000 yearly
• Team: Accounts Receivable within Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, supporting multiple business units and regions.
• Mission: Ensure accurate and timely processing and reconciliation of cash receipts, and support the month-end close process for infrastructure and capital projects.
• Tech Stack: ERP system, Deltek Vision, Vantagepoint, Costpoint, Excel, database systems

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support & Coordinate: Orchestrate the Accounts Receivable month-end close process across various business units and geographical regions.
• System Management: Manage and maintain the ERP system to ensure all financial transactions are accurate, timely, and compliant with company policies.
• Cash Application & Reconciliation: Process and meticulously reconcile high volumes of cash receipts, ensuring precise posting and timely reconciliation in accordance with company guidelines and approval requirements.
• Audit & Controls: Prepare and maintain essential financial documentation for internal and external audits, actively contributing to a robust control environment for all cash receipts and disbursements.
• Process Improvement & Analysis: Identify opportunities for automation within AP/AR processes to minimize manual errors and enhance service levels, leveraging advanced Excel and ERP/database systems for comprehensive financial data analysis and management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in an AP accounting role, with Accounts Receivable experience highly preferred.
• Skills: Strong ERP and accounting systems experience, strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and reconciliation, strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, ability to manage high-volume transactions and meet deadlines.
• Bonus: 2+ years of direct Accounts Receivable experience in addition to an AP background, experience with Deltek systems (including Vision, Vantagepoint, or Costpoint).
