The Tone:
This is an onsite role for an AP Specialist at Ledgent, supporting a client in the growing Construction/HVAC sector. The company is experiencing significant demand across the U.S. and requires additional support from a skilled accounts payable clerk. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient financial operations and supporting the company’s continued expansion by ensuring accurate processing of high-volume transactions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Process: Process high-volume accounts payable invoices daily.
• Reconcile: Complete bank and credit card reconciliations monthly.
• Report: Generate AP aging reports and maintain vendor documentation within the CRM system.
• Support: Assist with month-end close activities and various accounting projects as needed.
• Maintain: Track and maintain invoices, expenses, and warranty documentation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate Degree in Accounting required, with a solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience: Proficiency with intermediate to advanced Excel skills and prior experience with high-volume accounts payable processes.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, exceptional organizational and time-management skills, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred; self-starter with a proactive approach and positive attitude.
