What You’ll Actually Do
• Process business documents by analyzing and preparing them for accounting records.
• Prepare accurate financial statement journal entries based on a thorough analysis of accounting and financial data.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Prepare tax information and conduct testing of both SOX and Non-SOX controls within the auditing process.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and collaborate effectively with various departments outside the Controller’s Organization.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Concurrent enrollment in a bachelor’s degree (or higher) seeking program for the duration of the experience, with an Accounting major required.
• Experience: No specific years of prior experience required, but strong academic performance is essential.
• Skills: Proficiency in accounting and financial data analysis, preparation of journal entries and general ledger reconciliations, preparation of tax information, and testing of internal controls. Ability to provide reliable transportation to and from the place of work.
• Bonus: Other business majors may be considered, and military experience is a plus.
