This is a Summer Internship at Company, located in San Ramon, CA. As an industry leader, Company provides extensive real-world business, accounting, and financial training, preparing interns for all aspects of managing a successful business. This Accounting Intern position is an integral entry point into our comprehensive Business Management Training program. It aims to fully prepare individuals to become a Business Manager, overseeing their own financial operations and providing essential balance to the partnerships with marketing and operational teams. You will contribute to the company’s financial health while enjoying a supportive environment and clear path for performance-based career advancement.

The TL;DR

• Mission: Introduce interns to financial management, preparing them for a Business Manager role overseeing financial operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in preparing financial statements and conducting analysis.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with rental branches and other departments to support financial operations.
• Managerial Reporting: Assist accounting managers with various reports and data as needed.
• Financial Transaction Processing: Be involved with accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) functions, including processing cash receipts and managing petty cash.
• Record Keeping & Admin: Assist in maintaining accounting schedules and filing, along with performing miscellaneous administrative duties.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Full-time enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program focusing on Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between August 2026 and December 2026.
• Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; foundational understanding of basic accounting procedures, including accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) systems; capability to assist with financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Bonus: Flexibility and willingness to relocate outside the local area/state within a 1-3 year period for potential promotional opportunities. Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship, either now or in the future. Availability to start in May 2026 and commit to full-time work (40 hours/week) for a 10-12 week duration.
