Intern: Finance and Business Control (Spring 2027) | Volvo Construction Equipment

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounts Payable: Process incoming accounts payable transactions efficiently and accurately to maintain vendor relationships and financial records.
• Intercompany Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of intercompany accounts payable aging to identify discrepancies, ensure timely settlements, and support financial health.
• Inventory Reporting: Prepare comprehensive month-end inventory reports, providing crucial data for financial oversight and operational decision-making.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform thorough bank account reconciliations, identifying and resolving any variances to ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to finance and business control, contributing to performance assessments and strategic insights.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled and pursuing a B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration from an accredited institution, with at least 30 semester hours completed prior to the internship start.
• Foundational Knowledge: Understanding of the 3-Way matching principle for Accounts Payable and a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Key Abilities: Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively as a strong team player, consistently meet deadlines, and possess excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
