What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Compile and meticulously analyze financial information to prepare accurate entries for general ledger accounts, ensuring proper documentation of all business transactions.
• Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and verify strict adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and established company internal financial procedures.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze detailed financial information concerning assets, liabilities, and capital, preparing essential documents such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other critical financial reports.
• Management Interpretation: Summarize and clearly interpret the current and projected financial position of the company for various internal managers, aiding in informed decision-making.
• System Implementation: Devise, install, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of robust accounting systems and internal accounting control procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, specifically within an accounting or finance-related discipline. This role is designed for early-career professionals, forming a foundational part of the accounting team.
• Experience: Candidates must possess zero to one year of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and practical experience relevant to accounting principles and financial management.
• Skills: Demonstrated knowledge and the ability to practically apply core accounting concepts; strong analytical capabilities to synthesize complex or diverse financial information; proficiency with accounting software; adept problem-solving skills to address practical challenges and interpret varied instructions; and effective communication skills for drafting routine reports, correspondence, and speaking before groups.
