What You’ll Actually Do
• Pay Applications: Assist with preparing and processing pay applications.
• Financial Management: Track and review receivables, and process accounts payable.
• Compliance: Ensure overall adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
• Project Support: Provide accounting support for on-site project management teams.
• Payroll Assistance: Assist with payroll functions, including adjustments and closings.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, serving as an entry-level position within the Business Unit Accounting job family.
• Experience: 0-3 years of practical experience in an accounting or finance role, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to actively listen, clearly convey information, and ensure shared understanding across various audiences and formats; demonstrated proficiency in essential software, specifically Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word; a strong aptitude for problem-solving, involving the ability to effectively identify issues, prioritize potential solutions, and implement viable alternatives; capability to demonstrate agility and maintain effectiveness by adjusting to change, exploring new approaches, and collaborating respectfully with diverse team members to achieve excellence; a self-starter who shows passion, commitment, and ownership in delivering business outcomes, proactively identifying opportunities for new and improved ways of doing things that result in value-added solutions.
