This Accountant role is crucial for maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency supporting these substantial projects, ensuring accurate record-keeping and smooth financial operations. What You’ll Actually Do
• Monthly Close: Facilitate the monthly accounting close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Transaction Management: Process and manage daily financial activities including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash transactions.
• Bank Reconciliation: Maintain all company bank accounts and prepare comprehensive monthly reconciliations.
• Journal Entries: Execute accurate journal entries for applicable accounts, contributing to the overall accounting close procedures.
• Special Projects: Contribute to special accounting projects and initiatives as needed by the finance department.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An Associate degree in Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (+2 years). This is an early-career role focusing on core accounting principles.
• Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of direct accounting experience, including familiarity with financial transaction processing and reconciliation.
• Skills: Proficiency in accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, bank reconciliation, and general journal entry preparation.
• Bonus: Preferred proficiency with Yardi software.
