Account Coordinator – Art & Collectible Design | DADA Goldberg

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at DADA Goldberg, located in the New York City Metro Area with a hybrid work model, or remote with required travel for employees outside NYC. DADA Goldberg is a creative communications agency dedicated to crafting thoughtful stories for distinguished design and destination brands. The Account Coordinator supports media relations across international clients, playing a crucial role in public relations, brand positioning, event concepts and management, media planning, and social media initiatives. This entry-level position is central to the team’s ability to maintain high-quality client service and engagement with media contacts.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Media & Influencer Outreach: Support the account team by implementing outreach strategies to the press and influencers, including the frequent execution of press releases and other collateral material, while also being responsible for meeting with new and established media contacts three times each month.
• Client Reporting & Documentation: Prepare comprehensive agendas and re-caps of client meetings, create detailed weekly, monthly, and final activity and media reports for clients, and meticulously organize and maintain documents, images, captions, and all press materials on Google Drive.
• Media Monitoring & Reporting: Systematically read and track daily coverage of clients and related news stories across online, print, and social media platforms; oversee the accurate press clipping process conducted by interns to ensure proper formatting and timely delivery; and report all press coverage links and clips to clients daily or weekly, culminating in comprehensive end-of-year clip reports.
• Database Management & Research: Update and meticulously maintain lists of media, influencers, industry, and client contacts within Muck Rack and various client trackers; proactively research and update editorial calendars for key print publications; and scan HARO reports daily to identify and bring relevant client opportunities to the attention of the account team.
• Event Coordination & Intern Supervision: Conduct thorough media outreach for client events to invite media and influencers, maintain accurate RSVP lists, be present at client events to efficiently check-in guests, deliver accurate final headcount and attendee lists, and train and supervise interns to support the account teams’ administrative and account work.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires a B.A. Degree in a relevant field. This is an entry-level position focused on supporting creative communications for distinguished design and destination brands, working across 5-7 international accounts.
• Experience: Candidates must possess prior PR internship experience. The role requires the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, alongside a commitment to regularly travel to client events and, on occasion, service client projects outside of regular working hours.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a detail-oriented and fastidious approach to data entry and database management are essential. Required technical proficiencies include Mac-savvy operation, Google Suite, MS Office Suite, Keynote, Muck Rack, and Canva.
• Bonus: Fluency in a foreign language is considered a valuable asset for this role.
