Accelerated Leadership Development Program – Research & Development Path – Chassis Mechatronics | Schaeffler
The Tone:
This is an early career, full-time role at Schaeffler, with the first rotation starting in Troy, MI, and a guaranteed permanent position in Troy, MI upon program graduation. • Mission: To develop future leaders within Schaeffler’s Research & Development functions, specifically for Chassis Mechatronics, through cross-departmental exposure and structured leadership training.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop Leadership: Partner with an experienced professional mentor to cultivate best practices and grow into a leader at Schaeffler.
• Acquire Expertise: Gain in-depth knowledge by working alongside experts in relevant and cross-functional departments.
• Engage in Training: Receive comprehensive training based on the 70:20:10 model, emphasizing hands-on experience, mentorship, and formal instruction.
• Advance Skills: Utilize dedicated leadership training and tools to refine and enhance leadership capabilities.
• Achieve Milestones: Successfully complete development milestones during each rotation to prepare for a guaranteed permanent position.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering or Engineering Technology field.
• Experience: At least two rotations of relevant co-ops or internships are required.
• Skills: Solid grasp of core engineering principles, excellent organization and communication abilities, strong Microsoft Office proficiency, and willingness to relocate every 6 months.
• Bonus: Leadership experience or exposure, and experience in a fast-paced environment are preferred.
