Accelerated Leadership Program – Quality Path | Schaeffler
The Tone:
This is a full-time, early career role within Schaeffler’s Accelerated Leadership Program. The first rotation starts in Fort Mill, SC, which is also the guaranteed location for a permanent position upon program completion. However, the program involves four six-month rotations that can be located throughout North America (USA, Mexico, Canada), with potential for international assignments. Schaeffler is a global technology company, a partner to major automobile manufacturers, as well as key players in the aerospace and industrial sectors. This program offers extensive development opportunities, aiming to cultivate future leaders who will contribute to Schaeffler’s continued success and entrepreneurial spirit.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Partnership: Partner with an experienced professional leader to develop and implement best practices, evolving effectively into a leadership role within Schaeffler’s quality organization.
• Knowledge Acquisition: Gain in-depth knowledge and practical insights by working alongside experts in various relevant and cross-functional departments across different facilities.
• Structured Training: Receive structured training based on the 70:20:10 model, which emphasizes a blend of hands-on experience, direct mentoring, and formal educational sessions.
• Leadership Development: Utilize dedicated leadership training programs and tools designed to systematically develop and enhance essential leadership skills throughout the program.
• Milestone Completion: Successfully complete all specified rotation development milestones, ensuring readiness for a guaranteed permanent position in Quality upon program graduation.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering or Engineering Technology field, indicating entry-level career stage suitable for high-potential development. Candidates must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Experience: Must have completed at least two rotations of relevant co-ops or internships, demonstrating practical exposure to professional engineering environments.
• Skills: Possess a thorough understanding of core engineering principles, exhibit excellent organization and communication skills, and demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Willingness to relocate every six months for rotations is also required.
• Bonus: Candidates with prior experience in a fast-paced work environment are preferred, as is demonstrated leadership experience or exposure in academic or professional settings.
