2027 Wealth & Investment Management Summer Internship – Early Careers | Wells Fargo

The Tone:
This is a summer internship at Wells Fargo, located in Charlotte, NC and St. Louis, MO. Wells Fargo is one of the United States’ leading providers of financial and investment services, aiming to help clients pursue their financial goals with confidence. This internship is designed to attract, develop, and retain exceptional rising-senior students, with the goal of building bench strength and strengthening the workforce within Wealth & Investment Management. Participants will gain in-depth experience and begin to build analytical and interpersonal communication skills as part of a high-performing team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Interactions: Interact with leaders at all levels of the organization, including senior management, direct team members, individual contributors, and vendors.
• Service: Provide customer service to clients and internal employees as needed and appropriate.
• Improvements: Understand processes and workflows to make recommendations for process improvements.
• Problem Solving: Bring closure to issues, questions, and requests, solving problems independently.
• Development: Consistently learn new systems, applications, processes, and techniques, and lead or participate in projects or support activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Financial Planning or a related field, with an expected graduation date of December 2027-June 2028, representing a rising-senior student.
• Experience: 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Skills: Ability to use critical thinking and basic data analysis; demonstrates initiative and delivers high-quality work; works effectively in teams, communicates clearly, and builds strong relationships; demonstrates understanding of business and financial concepts; demonstrates integrity and sound judgment while identifying and managing risk.
• Bonus: Active participation in extracurricular or enrichment activities, including leadership, volunteer, or student organization experience.
