2027 Finance Summer Internship – Early Careers | Wells Fargo
The Tone:
This is a temporary internship at Wells Fargo, located in Charlotte, NC, Irving, TX, and Minneapolis, MN. Wells Fargo is a leading financial services company responsible for driving comprehensive financial management activities including accounting, planning, treasury, and investment portfolios. This role is crucial for developing early career talent, providing a foundational understanding of the company’s operations and financial strategies, and preparing students for a career in finance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate in formal training and onboarding activities to prepare for a career within finance at Wells Fargo.
• Engage in coaching and networking opportunities to support your professional development.
• Contribute to relevant work assignments and group projects within one of Wells Fargo’s finance groups.
• Gain exposure to diverse finance disciplines and responsibilities across multiple business lines.
• Develop a high-level understanding of Wells Fargo’s operations, business strategies, and organizational culture.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level undergraduate pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 – June 2028.
• Experience: Minimum 6 months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education. Demonstrated knowledge, interests, or experience in the financial services industry, corporate accounting, managing data and reporting, data visualization, and/or data analytics.
• Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, highly motivated and detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, energetic self-starter who takes initiative, clear and succinct verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated problem analysis and solving skills, intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Bonus: Basic proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, SQL, and/or other analytics tools, familiarity with AI powered productivity tools and a strong interest in learning and using them responsibly, involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Data & Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Applied Math or Business Administration/Business Management.
