Job Description: 2025 Summer Internship

PulteGroup offers summer internships providing a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the homebuilding industry and build a strong career foundation. Interns will participate in rotational shadowing across various functions and departments, gaining a holistic understanding of the business. Daily work involves contributing to meaningful projects alongside experienced professionals within a designated function. The company invests in intern development through centralized training and development opportunities. The internship culminates in a capstone presentation to local Division leadership.

Specific Responsibilities (Finance focus):

The Finance internship offers a path to acquire critical reporting literacy essential for understanding the complexities of the homebuilding business. Interns will gain experience in land acquisition, financial analytics, and advising on business decisions and opportunities. They will work as a “financial bridge” connecting various departments, partnering with sales and field construction teams to ensure fiscal success.

General Internship Requirements:

Eligibility: High school diploma or equivalent; at least 18 years old; authorized to work in the US; enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student (minimum sophomore status preferred) at the time of application or having graduated in the semester before the internship. Minimum 2.5 GPA preferred.
Skills: Curious, coachable, personable, patient, action-oriented, accountable, motivated, enthusiastic, professional communication (written and verbal), tech-savvy (Excel and Microsoft Teams), strong organizational skills, self-motivation, learning agility, bias for action, strong interest in homebuilding/real estate/construction. Extracurricular involvement is a plus.
Schedule: 40 hours per week, May 19, 2025 – August 8, 2025 (12 weeks). Schedule may be adjusted. Primarily in-person at one of 29 Division Offices or development communities.
Compensation: $20/hour (may vary by position and location). Temporary employees are eligible for the company’s 401(k) plan.
