Job Description: PulteGroup 2025 Summer Internship (Finance)

PulteGroup offers summer internships providing hands-on experience in the homebuilding industry. Interns gain a holistic understanding of the business through rotational shadowing across various functions and departments. The internship program includes:

Rotational Shadowing: Exposure to diverse aspects of homebuilding.
Meaningful Projects: Contributing to real-world projects within a designated function under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Centralized Training: Investment in intern development through structured training opportunities.
Capstone Presentation: Concluding the internship with a presentation showcasing acquired experience and ideas to local Division leadership.

Specific Responsibilities (Finance):

Finance interns will gain crucial reporting literacy and contribute to the financial success of the business. Key tasks include:

Land Acquisition Support: Learning financial analytics and advising on business decisions and opportunities related to land acquisition.
Interdepartmental Collaboration: Acting as a financial liaison, partnering with sales and field construction teams to ensure fiscal goals are met.
Critical Reporting: Developing skills in financial reporting essential for the homebuilding process.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student (minimum sophomore status preferred) or recent graduate (graduated the semester prior to the internship start).
• Minimum 2.5 GPA preferred.
• Relevant degree pursuit (Business Administration, Finance, Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Marketing, Communication, Architecture, or similar).
• Strong communication (written and verbal), organizational, and tech skills (especially Excel and Microsoft Teams).
• Self-motivation, learning agility, and a bias for action.
• Strong interest in homebuilding, real estate, or construction.
• Extracurricular involvement is a plus.

Internship Details:

Dates: May 19, 2025 – August 8, 2025 (12 weeks, potentially adjustable)
Schedule: 40 hours/week, schedule dependent on the specific role.
Compensation: $20/hour (may vary based on location and position)
Benefits: Eligibility for the company’s 401(k) plan.
Location: Primarily in-person at one of 29 Division Offices or development communities across various states (Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, North Carolina).
Format: Primarily in-person work with a potential capstone presentation or final project.
