Susan G. Komen

Inspired by a promise made in 1980 to her dying sister, Susan, Nancy G. Brinker founded the Susan G. Komen® organization in 1982 to eradicate breast cancer. For over 40 years, this global movement has spearheaded groundbreaking research, community health programs, and advocacy efforts across the U.S. and in more than 30 countries. We remain steadfast in our mission to accelerate progress and ultimately make breast cancer a thing of the past.
