Job Title: Fall Global Marketing Intern
Summary:
The Fall Global Marketing Intern will gain valuable exposure and hands-on experience in various Global Marketing activities. This includes practical application within a global manufacturing company, focusing on areas such as external communications, North America marketing, and global strategic marketing. The internship is designed to provide diverse experiences that align with the intern’s interests while also benefiting the organization’s needs.
Responsibilities (Examples, as they can vary based on group needs):
• Analyzing the global distribution of Allison products to understand market share in developing countries and identify optimal locations for service channels to meet global customer needs.
• Creating Power BI dashboards to structure and visualize key market data effectively.
• Maintaining a comprehensive database of Allison product releases across global truck and bus manufacturers.
• Utilizing the Customer Value Creation Process to assess market size and trends for new global opportunities.
• Providing support for logistics related to customer events and trade shows.
• Assisting in the development and management of marketing materials, including website content, social media campaigns, video production, and other digital marketing assets, often in conjunction with external agencies.
Experience & Education Requirements:
• Education: Must be a college undergraduate or graduate student with 1-3 years completed at an accredited college or university. The academic field of study should be related to Marketing, Sales, Business/Business Analytics, or Management.
• Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Good interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with others.
• Demonstrated time management abilities, particularly when working on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Capacity to analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to resolve complex problems.
• Preferred knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI.
