About This Role:
Wells Fargo is seeking talented individuals to join their Commercial Banking Summer Internship – Early Careers program for 2026. This internship offers an opportunity to learn about career areas and lines of business within Wells Fargo’s University Programs.

Program Overview:
Wells Fargo Commercial Banking provides market-leading solutions, industry expertise, and insights to support client growth and success, enhancing the communities it serves.
This is a structured 10-week program designed for undergraduate students. Its aim is to provide a basic understanding of Commercial Banking and potential career paths through hands-on experience. Interns will work with experienced teams within a Commercial Banking business, gaining exposure to Wells Fargo’s operations, business strategies, and culture.

The program focuses on intern development to prepare them for their next career steps. It provides insight into Wells Fargo’s corporate and credit culture, offering opportunities for:

Key Components of the Summer Program:
Induction Week: A week-long onboarding and training session with other Wells Fargo interns, including networking opportunities with peers and leaders.
On-the-job experience: Meaningful and in-depth experiences working as part of a high-performing team, actively participating in daily activities to build analytical skills and a basic understanding of key processes.
Professional support: Interns are partnered with high-performing employees who serve as resources and coaches, providing guidance, assistance with challenging situations, and feedback.
Virtual speaker series: Wells Fargo’s top leaders share insights on maximizing the summer experience and discuss trends in the financial services industry.
Organized networking activities: Opportunities for community involvement and networking with peers and employees across Wells Fargo.

In This Role You Will:
Participate in formal internship program activities, workshops, and various initiatives.
Complete numerous assignments to familiarize oneself with policies and procedures for low-to-medium complex tasks.
Conduct research and financial analysis to assess client needs and identify optimal Wells Fargo products and services.
Partner with relationship managers, product specialists, and credit underwriters to support real-time business efforts and drive client outcomes.
Receive direction from a manager while exercising independent judgment, developing knowledge of compliance and risk management requirements.
Prioritize work, apply attention to detail, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work effectively under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.

Placement:
Offers are made for specific office locations based on candidate preference and business needs. Interns will be notified of their specific Commercial Banking business placement before the program starts.

Program Duration:
10 weeks, typically from June to August 2026 (exact dates TBD and subject to change).

Required Qualifications (US): 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Desired Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2026 or May/June 2027. All majors are welcome.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills.
• Involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities (volunteerism, student organization involvement, study abroad program(s), leadership position(s), non-profit involvement).
Proven ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a collaborative, change-driven atmosphere.
• Energetic self-starter who proactively takes initiative, acts with urgency, remains curious, and has a genuine interest in learning and growth.
• Demonstrated knowledge, interest, and/or experience in finance, accounting, and sales.
