Job Description (2026 Finance Internship Program – Early Careers)

This program is a ten-week early career development program designed to provide undergraduate students with a comprehensive overview of Wells Fargo, including its operations, business strategies, and organizational culture.

Program Overview:
The internship experience aims to offer a blend of business and professional development training. Key components include:
Relationship building
Relevant work assignments
Coaching
Feedback sessions
Group projects
Informative learning sessions with key leaders

The program prepares participants for a potential career at Wells Fargo, incorporating real-world experiences. Interns will be placed in one of the finance groups based on their location, degree, interest, and business needs.

• Wealth & Investment Management Finance
• Commercial Banking Finance
• Corporate & Investment Banking Finance
• Corporate & Strategic Finance
• Chief Operating Office Finance
• Investment Portfolio
• Technology Finance
• Treasury
• Controllers Division
• Investor Relations

In This Role, You Will:
• Gain experience across various finance disciplines supporting Wells Fargo’s operations.
• Receive formal training opportunities through onboarding, orientation, and throughout the program to prepare for a finance career at Wells Fargo.

• Be exposed to multiple business lines and finance-related responsibilities.

Ideal Candidate For This Role Must Have The Following:

Required Qualifications:
6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Desired Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Basic proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, SQL, and/or other analytics tools.
• Involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities such as volunteerism, student organization involvement, study abroad programs, leadership positions, or non-profit involvement.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Data & Analytics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Applied Math, or Business Administration/Business Management.
• Demonstrated knowledge, interests, and/or experience in the financial services industry, corporate accounting, managing data and reporting, data visualization, and/or data analytics.

Duration: 10 weeks, from June to August 2026 (exact dates TBD and subject to change).

Visa Requirements:
Wells Fargo will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Wells Fargo now or in the future.

Pay Range:
• The base pay range offered for this position is $18.00 – $65.00.
• Pay may vary based on factors including achievements, skills, experience, or work location. This range is only one component of the total compensation package.
