Blue & Co., LLC is seeking ambitious interns to join their Audit or Healthcare Reimbursement teams. They are a firm focused on delivering outstanding service and providing real-world experience for interns to grow their careers.
Job Description:
Blue & Co., LLC is looking for interns to contribute directly to their client service teams in either Audit or Healthcare Reimbursement. Interns will be supported by mentors, receive real-time feedback, and collaborate with coworkers, leadership, and client business owners.
Responsibilities (depending on practice group):
• Assisting with audits and reviews
• Understanding the impact of business transactions on financial statements and developing a business advisor perspective.
• Preparation of basic financial statements and schedules for clients
• Assisting with Medicaid/Medicare cost reports analysis for health care facilities
• Analysis related to mergers, acquisitions, litigation, ESOPs, and estate and succession planning
Requirements:
• Strong academic performance (Minimum GPA 3.2)
• Accounting, Finance, or related major on track to meet CPA exam requirements
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PPT, Outlook, and Excel)
• Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills
• Success in working independently and as part of a team
• Availability to work overtime hours including evening/weekends and travel as necessary
• Strong communication skills, including a willingness to ask questions to gain knowledge of complex subjects
• Authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis
