About the Job:

Wells Fargo is seeking talent for the 2026 Commercial Banking Summer Internship – Early Careers. This is a 10-week structured program designed to provide undergraduate students with a basic understanding of Commercial Banking through hands-on experience. Interns will work with an experienced team within one of Wells Fargo’s Commercial Banking businesses, gaining exposure to operations, business strategies, and culture.

Program Overview:

Focus: The internship focuses on development to prepare participants for their next career step.
Induction Week: A week-long onboarding and training session with interns across Wells Fargo, including networking opportunities.
On-the-job Experience: Meaningful experiences working as part of a high-performing team to build analytical skills and understanding of key processes.
Professional Support: Partnering with high-performing employees as resources and coaches.
Virtual Speaker Series: Insights from Wells Fargo’s top leaders on making the most of the summer experience and trends in the financial services industry.
Organized Networking Activities: Community involvement and networking with peers and employees across Wells Fargo.

In This Role You Will:

• Participate in formal internship program activities, workshops, and initiatives.
• Complete assignments related to low-to-medium complexity tasks and deliverables.
• Conduct research and financial analysis to assess client needs.
• Partner with relationship managers, product specialists, and credit underwriters.
• Receive direction from a manager and exercise independent judgment.
• Prioritize work, apply attention to detail, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure.

Program Duration:

• 10 weeks, June-August 2026 (exact dates TBD and subject to change)

Ideal Candidates Should Have:

• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Energetic self-starter who proactively takes initiative, remains curious, and has a genuine interest in learning and growth.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ months of work experience (or equivalent).

Desired Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2026 or May/June 2027. All majors welcome.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities.
• Demonstrated knowledge, interest and/or experience in finance, accounting, and sales.

Pay Range:

• Atlanta, GA: $36.06/hr
• Boston, MA: $43.27/hr
• Charlotte, NC: $36.06/hr
• Chicago, IL: $39.90/hr
• Dallas, TX: $36.06/hr
• Minneapolis, MN: $36.06/hr
• Phoenix, AZ: $36.06/hr
