Job Description:

This is a nine-week Quantitative Master’s Summer Internship Program designed for specialized master’s students in quantitative-disciplined curriculums to gain insights into the day-to-day life of an Associate at BlackRock.

Key Aspects of the Internship:

• Real-World Responsibilities: Interns will have actual responsibilities during their time at BlackRock.
• Networking Opportunities: Social and networking events are included to help interns build connections with future colleagues.
• Orientation and Training: The program begins with an orientation to learn about BlackRock’s mission, culture, principles, and purpose. This includes hearing from senior business leaders and receiving formal training on investment management fundamentals.
• Team Integration: Interns will join a team and work alongside industry professionals to develop subject-matter expertise through on-the-job learning and classroom sessions.
• Skill Development: BlackRock will provide the opportunities and tools to develop and stretch the intern’s potential.

Who Can Apply:

• Students enrolled in analytics, computational finance, financial engineering, mathematics, and/or a quantitative-disciplined master’s program.
• Students graduating between August 2026 and July 2027.
• Students with relevant pre-master’s work experience.

Important Application Details:

• Candidates can apply for only one program (e.g., Quantitative Master’s Internship Program or Summer Internship Program) and up to two functions within that program (e.g., Investment Research and Analytics & Modeling).
• Applicants must use the same program application for both opportunities.
• Withdrawing the application prevents submitting another one for the program this year.

Next Steps:

• Upon submission, applicants will receive an email to complete a pre-interview assessment.
• Applicants have up to five days to submit the assessment; failure to do so will result in automatic withdrawal of the application.

Salary Ranges (Semi-Monthly Rate):

• Client & Product Functions: $5,500 – $7,500
• Corporate & Strategic Functions: $5,500 – $7,000
• Investment: $6,500 – $8,500
• Operations: $5,000 – $6,000
• Technology: $6,500 – $8,000

For Washington State Only (Semi-Monthly Rate):

• Client & Product Functions: $5,000 – $6,500
• Corporate & Strategic Functions: $4,500 – $6,000
• Investment: $5,500 – $8,000
• Operations: $4,500 – $5,500
• Technology: $5,500 – $7,000
