Job Description:
This is an accounting internship program designed to provide students with real-world experience in public accounting. As an intern, you will be immersed in practical experiences with personalized, one-on-one mentorship. A peer will guide you throughout your journey, ensuring you have the resources and support to succeed. The firm provides constructive feedback to help you grow.
What To Expect:
• Training: Comprehensive training on the firm’s software and processes. Be prepared to absorb a lot of information and be eager to learn.
• Workload: A mix of assigned tasks and project work, building on your knowledge from one engagement to the next.
• Mentorship: Close work with a dedicated mentor and interaction with key individuals within the firm.
• Client Interaction: Real-world experience by working on actual client projects and meeting clients.
• Professional Development: Networking with business professionals from the community and learning about business development.
• Feedback: Constructive feedback on your progress throughout the internship. Completion of necessary paperwork for school credit.
Internship Opportunities:
Internships are available for 2027 in the TAMPA, ORLANDO, and PENSACOLA offices:
• Spring Tax Internships (JANUARY – APRIL 2027): 24+ hours per week from January to mid-April. Focused on tax season activities.
• Fall Audit Internships (SEPTEMBER – NOVEMBER 2027): Start in September and conclude in November. Focused on the audit process.
Requirements:
• Commitment to work at least 24+ hours per week.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and processes.
• Positive attitude and patience during the learning phase.
