Ryder is seeking an IT Audit Intern to join their Audit Services department, a high-performing team providing internal audit services and support to business leaders. This department conducts both audit and advisory activities aimed at improving Ryder’s business and IT processes, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Job Description:
As an IT Audit Intern, you will assist with a variety of IT audit projects, including:
• SOX or other compliance audits
• IT process audits
• Vendor audits
• IT general control audits
This is a remote, part-time (20 hours/week) internship, offering flexibility to work around your class schedule.
As An IT Audit Intern You Will:
• Learn the fundamentals of IT auditing and business operations through training and participation in various audit assignments.
• Perform IT audit procedures, including identifying issues, developing criteria, analyzing evidence, and documenting processes.
• Prepare working papers, conduct interviews, review documents, and compose summary memos.
• Identify, develop, and document issues and recommendations.
• Communicate the results of projects via written reports and oral presentations.
Qualifications:
• Must be at least an incoming Junior pursuing a BA/BS in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Coursework in accounting, auditing, economics, data analytics, computer programming, or other financial or IT-centric curriculum.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Compensation Information:
• Pay Type: Hourly
• Minimum Pay Range: $21.00
• Maximum Pay Range: $21.00
