Tigbourne Capital is a private equity firm with global operations, established in 2011. They focus on helping high-tech ventures scale in critical sectors including cybersecurity, medical technology, shipping, and energy. They are currently expanding their flagship initiative in Organic Oil Recovery (OOR), a next-gen oilfield recovery technology.
Job Description
This internship is designed to be a hands-on experience where interns directly engage with leadership to shape outreach strategies and conduct research that drives investment decisions. Interns will work closely with the Tigbourne team on high-priority, fast-moving deals and see how strategic capital is deployed in real-world energy markets.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Research and analyze oil & gas producers in the U.S. and Canada.
• Identify fields aligned with their OOR recovery model.
• Help build investment target lists and guide outreach direction.
• Contribute to technical evaluations and field-level strategy.
• Track deal conversations and support relationship development.
• Collaborate on materials used in real-world investor discussions.
The intern will report directly to senior members of the investment team and engage with operators, engineers, and executives across the oil & gas industry.
