Job Description: Audit and Assurance – Winter Internship (January-March)

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) winter internship in Crowe’s Audit and Assurance practice. The internship provides in-depth exposure to the auditing profession and the day-to-day responsibilities of an auditor. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining insights into current industry issues.

Responsibilities:

• Auditing client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
• Sharpening analytical skills using Crowe’s audit tools and technologies, including advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation.
• Working independently and collaboratively within a diverse team to deliver exceptional client service.
• Participating in diverse client engagements across various industries, including manufacturing and distribution, not-for-profit, government, healthcare, education, construction, dealerships, food and agriculture, insurance, and financial institutions.
• Working on benefit plan audits (401(k), pension, or employee stock ownership plans).
• Taking initiative and seeking on-the-job learning opportunities within a collaborative team culture.

Requirements:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting or a similar field.
• CPA-eligible (150 credit hours) by graduation.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Strong preference for experience with data analytics.
• Relevant work experience (internships, summer positions, school jobs) is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel, including evenings or weekends if needed.

Compensation: The hourly wage range is estimated at $27.00 – $42.00, but actual compensation will depend on various factors including skills, experience, and other business needs.
