Job Description: 2025 Summer Internship (Finance Focus)

PulteGroup offers internships providing hands-on experience and a strong foundation for long-term career goals within the homebuilding industry. Interns participate in rotational shadowing across various functions and departments, gaining a holistic understanding of the business. The internship program includes:

Rotational Shadowing: Experience various aspects of the homebuilding process.
Daily Work: Contributing to meaningful projects within a designated function, working alongside experienced professionals.
Training & Development: Investment in intern development through centralized training opportunities.
Capstone Presentation: Showcase internship experience and ideas to local Division leadership.

Specific Responsibilities for Finance Interns:

• Gain crucial reporting literacy vital to the homebuilding business.
• Learn about land acquisition, financial analytics, and advising on business decisions.
• Work as a liaison between various departments (e.g., sales, field construction), ensuring fiscal success. The intern’s financial expertise will be essential to the company’s overall operations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student (minimum sophomore status preferred), or having graduated in the semester immediately preceding the internship.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 preferred.
Skills and Attributes: Curious, coachable, personable, patient, action-oriented, accountable, motivated, enthusiastic, strong written and verbal communication skills, tech-savvy (Excel and Microsoft Teams), strong organizational skills, self-motivation, learning agility, bias for action, and a strong interest in the homebuilding, real estate, or construction industry. Extracurricular involvement is a plus.

Internship Details:

Dates: May 19, 2025 – August 8, 2025 (12 weeks), with potential adjustments based on individual needs.
Schedule: 40 hours per week, dependent on the specific internship role.
Location: Primarily in-person at one of 29 Division Offices or in development communities (Arizona, Florida, Nevada, North Carolina).
Compensation: $20/hour (may vary by position and location).
Benefits: Eligibility for the company’s 401(k) plan.
