Job Description: Summer Internship
Provident Bank offers paid, 10-week summer internships (starting in June) across various departments. Interns will gain hands-on experience, learn departmental roles and responsibilities, and interact with senior leaders. The program emphasizes active participation and contribution to ongoing initiatives from day one. Interns will gain insight into the bank’s customer-centric approach, employee-focused environment, and community involvement.
Internship Opportunities: The internship program offers placements in the following departments:
• BSA/Fraud
• BSA Compliance
• Credit Underwriting Support
• CRE Lending
• C&I Lending
• Specialty Lending
• Information Security
• Project Management Office
• IT – Infrastructure Engineering
• Operations/Process Improvement
Minimum Requirements:
• College student pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Information Security.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong drive, motivation, and sound judgment
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Critical thinking and logical reasoning skills
• Strong math skills
• Attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to meet short deadlines and multitask/prioritize assignments
Working Conditions:
