Job Description:

This is a 3-month internship (May – August 2025) for a Supply Chain Intern within Amazon Robotics, located in either Westborough, MA or North Reading, MA. The role offers direct access to robotics testing labs and manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop an understanding of Amazon Robotics’ Supply Chain and Systems and Tools processes, identifying targets for improvement in transactional and operational efficiencies.
• Support the execution of supply chain cost/lead time, safety stock, procurement, planning, warehousing/logistics, and/or new product introduction programs, including exploring opportunities across multiple Amazon business units.
• Lead projects to automate cross-functional processes between Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Deployment, and Engineering.
• Develop processes and mechanisms related to expanding capacity and programs within the Robotics Operations Center of Excellence.
• Develop efficient and accurate metrics and mechanisms for measuring and reporting supply chain performance. Support the introduction of new software/tools/dashboards.
• Actively support and foster a culture of inclusion.

A Day in the Life:

The Supply Chain Intern will work within the Supply Chain organization supporting the development of business processes for Supply Chain Planning, Strategic Sourcing, Logistics, and Systems and Tools teams. A strong understanding of supply chain, operations, finance, and general business practices is essential. The intern will work with a team that sources and manufactures a portfolio of robotics technology, responsible for ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time to support Amazon’s global fulfillment and transportation solutions. This involves cross-functional work with teams across Amazon globally, driven by data and metrics.
