Job Description: MBO Stage Scheikunde/Laborant – Meetmethode voor stabiliteit van pigmenten in inktvloeistoffen

Are you an MBO student looking for a challenging internship in a large research company? Would you enjoy digging into and improving a measurement method, directly helping our researchers? Then you might be our candidate!

Your Mission:

For our ink research, it’s crucial that our pigment dispersions are stable. We’ve developed two measurement methods: one for particle size (DLS) and another for viscosity (rheometer).

We’re looking for a student who enjoys actively contributing to the further development of these methods, seeking the most practical and quickest way to achieve accurate measurements.

Within this internship, you’ll:

• Be guided within our R&D UVgel-ink group.
• Gain experience conducting and improving chemical-physical measurements to deliver better ink.
• Under supervision, explore and propose improvements, conducting a small accuracy study.
• Learn to plan, execute, and interpret this study independently.
• Have the opportunity to see your work incorporated into further ink engineering.

Your Profile:

• You’re currently an MBO student (at least second year) in the field of chemistry, laboratory technology, or chemical-physical analysis.
• You’re eager to contribute to improving an existing measurement technique.
• You can work effectively within a larger team, establishing clear agreements on tasks and deadlines.
• You’re available for a period of at least 4 months.

What you’ll get:

• A challenging assignment with expert guidance.
• An internship/graduation allowance of €500 per month.
• Travel expense reimbursement if you don’t have a public transport weekly pass.
• The chance to network with professionals within and outside your field, thanks to our diverse range of disciplines.
• With our company values of collaboration, innovation, and ownership, we strive to bring out the best in each other, push boundaries, and feel empowered to take ownership of our work.
