The Tone:

Wintrust provides community and commercial banking, specialty finance, and wealth management services through its various banking charters and non-bank businesses. This role is crucial for designing, architecting, developing, and maintaining Salesforce applications, directly impacting multiple areas of Wintrust’s business by delivering sophisticated solutions with personalized service.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Development: Lead the technical development, implementation, administration, and support of the Salesforce CRM platform.
• Design Solutions: Participate in the development and deployment of new features, playing a leading role in the design of new/improved interfaces and functions within the platform.
• Collaborate and Review: Collaborate with other Software Engineers to write and review technical specifications, meeting objectives, and provide advanced code review along with pair programming sessions.
• Provide Support: Provide production support for Salesforce/portals, including after-hours support when necessary.
• Deliver Solutions: Define product features, estimates, and deliver solutions while participating in the full Software Development Life Cycle.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Certificate: Salesforce Platform Developer II. Career level: Senior. Core domain knowledge: Design, architecture, development, and maintenance of applications within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Experience: 7+ years experience working with Salesforce CRM.
• Skills: APEX, AutoRabbit, Git, Object Orientated design, SOQL/SOSL, Visual Studio Code.
