The company builds a multi-tenant SaaS platform, and this role is crucial for designing and writing robust code within that environment. What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaborate: Work effectively with teammates and other functions in a geographically distributed remote environment.
• Develop: Implement solutions hands-on using Python, Django, Ember, and PostgreSQL.
• Design: Create well-designed, testable, and efficient systems following company processes and industry best practices.
• Lead: Guide technical design initiatives and efforts within the team.
• Resolve: Troubleshoot and fix software defects effectively.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level professional with 6+ years of software development experience, specializing in multi-tenant SaaS environments, including tenant isolation and data handling.
• Experience: Proven ability to work with Python and Django (REST APIs, models, migrations), PostgreSQL (comfort writing/reasoning about SQL), and JavaScript frameworks. Demonstrated comfort with Git/GitHub, PR-based delivery, using Docker for local development, and writing/maintaining robust tests. Willingness to utilize AI in day-to-day work is required.
• Skills: Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Multi-tenant SaaS architecture, JavaScript, Git/GitHub, Docker, Test-driven development.
• Bonus: Experience with Django REST Framework or equivalent API frameworks, Redis and background jobs (queues, scheduled work), Payments/billing (Stripe or similar), AWS basics (S3, RDS, containers), Auth (sessions, OAuth, permissions), Frontend development (Ember or another modern SPA for routing, data layer, forms, components), Debugging production issues from logs and stack traces, experience using AI in software delivery, Observability (Sentry, log platforms, tracing), E2E tests (Playwright or similar), CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Integrations (email, analytics, maps), E-commerce/POS/cart flows.
