Master Thesis: AI-Enabled Transformation of the HW Transfer Service | Ericsson

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: In-person – Linköping, Sweden
• Mission: Improve the HW Transfer Service’s efficiency, scalability, traceability, and user experience through artificial intelligence, automation, and digitalization.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Map: Document the end-to-end HW Transfer Service, including all stakeholders, workflows, systems, data flows, and handovers.
• Assess: Evaluate the current performance and user experience of the service, identifying bottlenecks, process gaps, inefficiencies, and manual activities.
• Investigate: Explore opportunities for leveraging artificial intelligence, automation, and digitalization to enhance the service.
• Implement: Select one specific use case and develop a proof of concept solution for it.
• Recommend: Formulate evidence-based recommendations and a roadmap for future service improvements, presenting findings and documenting the work in a written thesis report.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Master’s students in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Systems, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Entry-Level.
• Experience: An interest in process improvement, digitalization, AI, automation, and developing practical solutions.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, good communication skills, the ability to understand and analyze processes, systems, and data flows, and the ability to work independently and collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
