Adjoint(e) aux programmes – Filets Sociaux | World Food Programme
The Tone:
This is a full-time, 12-month renewable Service Contract role at the World Food Programme, located in Port-au-Prince, Haïti. The World Food Programme is the world’s largest humanitarian organization, dedicated to saving lives in emergencies and building pathways to peace by fighting global hunger. This position supports the effective implementation of social safety net programs, focusing on financial inclusion and accompanying measures to strengthen household resilience, reduce extreme poverty, and contribute to national social protection systems in Haiti.

• Mission: Support the effective implementation of accompanying measures, especially financial inclusion initiatives, within social safety net programs to strengthen household resilience and reduce extreme poverty.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Plan: Ensure the planning of financial inclusion activities within accompanying measures and behavior change initiatives, collaborating closely with partners, donors, and MAST.
• Develop: Elaborate and deploy planning and coordination tools for stakeholders, including organizing and facilitating coordination meetings, and adapt training tools (manuals, modules, presentations) for partners and beneficiaries, focusing on economic and financial inclusion and Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs).
• Support: Accompany partners throughout the implementation of accompanying measures, ensuring quality standards, proposing technical and operational adjustments, and providing technical assistance on cross-cutting themes and income-generating activities.
• Monitor: Manage beneficiary data for financial inclusion activities to improve tracking, enable data processing and dissemination, contribute to digital data collection and monitoring tools, and conduct field visits to monitor progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation solutions.
• Coach: Ensure the involvement, accompaniment, and coaching of governmental institutions in implementing activities and establishing planning and monitoring tools, with a view towards national ownership.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Master’s degree in international cooperation, political science, communication, social sciences, or a related field relevant to international development or humanitarian affairs.
• Experience: At least four years of professional experience related to financial inclusion, resilience, nutrition, or social protection. Must include at least two professional experiences involving inter-agency coordination with humanitarian actors, government institutions, and civil society organizations. Experience in monitoring social protection programs and strengthening the capacities of national and departmental government actors.
• Skills: Knowledge of cash transfer programs or government capacity building initiatives, or communication for behavior change. Ability to organize and facilitate training sessions. Proficiency in Excel and digital tools.
• Languages: Very good command of French and English (written, spoken, read). Very good command of Haitian Creole.
