EmERge Emergency Veterinarian Training Program | BluePearl Pet Hospital

The Tone:
This is a full-time, immersive emergency veterinarian training program at BluePearl Pet Hospital, with in-person components across various BluePearl locations. BluePearl is a company dedicated to providing outstanding specialty and emergency care for pets. This role is crucial for developing skilled and confident emergency veterinarians who can administer life-saving care, contributing to the transformation and leadership of the veterinary industry through high-quality medicine.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Initial Training: Complete a 14-week accelerated boot camp and initial training, comprising virtual learning, an immersive in-person boot camp with labs and case scenarios, and rotations through specialties at your primary hospital.
• Mentored Training: Undertake 20 weeks of hands-on, immersive training, closely guided by an experienced clinician mentor.
• Experiential Learning: Participate in 18 weeks of experiential training, with continued personalized mentorship to build proficiency.
• Career Commitment: Fulfill a one-year work commitment as an Emergency Veterinarian at a BluePearl hospital after successfully completing the training program.
• Skill Development: Acquire comprehensive practical skills and real-world experience necessary for a prosperous career in emergency veterinary medicine.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Doctorate Degree. Entry-Level. Graduate of an accredited veterinary school with a foundation in veterinary medicine.
• Experience: Passed or is pending the NAVLE. Licensed or eligible for licensure in the desired state.
• Skills: Emergency medical care, critical practical veterinary skills, and the ability to apply learned clinical knowledge.
• Bonus: Sincere interest in becoming an Emergency Veterinarian, applicable to both recent graduates and seasoned veterinary professionals.
