This is a full-time leadership development program at Parker Hannifin, designed to combine structured professional growth with practical, hands-on experience in supply chain operations. The role is specifically crafted to cultivate future supply chain leaders by providing competitive training and direct engagement in sourcing, procurement, and logistics. This position is vital for building a pipeline of skilled professionals who will contribute to long-term decision-making and ensure the future success of the company’s global supply chain.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Procurement & Planning: Manage the purchasing of parts, equipment, and materials, including preparing request for quotations, submitting purchase orders, and planning production schedules to ensure maximum on-time delivery.
• Supplier Management: Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, resolve shipment quality discrepancies, negotiate claims, and participate in developing alternate sources of supply.
• Logistics Coordination: Assist in fulfilling shipping orders, receive and process inbound materials, arrange freight services, and create material movement transactions.
• Inventory & Data Management: Maintain accuracy of open purchase orders, quotes, work orders, and part master data, track material flow through the production cycle, and manage inventory levels.
• Leadership Development: Engage in a two-year rotational program involving hands-on leadership training, coaching, mentorship, and exposure to various business divisions, facilities, and managers nationwide.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree acquired before June 2027, with a preferred concentration in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Materials and Logistics Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Business.
• Experience: Participation in a competitive training and hands-on leadership program designed to provide knowledge and experience, with a focus on developing skillsets in supervision, team leadership, and management.
• Skills: Demonstrated technical competence and analytical ability, proficiency with Microsoft applications, excellent communication and writing skills, and geographic mobility throughout the United States.
• Bonus: Overall GPA of 3.0 or better; eligibility for U.S. export compliance requirements (US citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee status) in divisions subject to ITAR/EAR.
