Global Procurement Associate Leadership Development Rotational Program | BioSpace

The Tone:
This is a full-time, two-and-a-half-year leadership development rotational program at Regeneron, operating on-site. Regeneron is dedicated to using science and innovation to develop life-changing medicines for people with serious diseases. This program is specifically built to cultivate and develop recent university graduates, providing them with comprehensive experience across various aspects of global procurement. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience, collaborating with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers on strategic sourcing initiatives that are critical to supporting Regeneron’s mission. What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaborate: Partner with internal stakeholders to thoroughly gather business requirements and develop robust category strategies that drive strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Analyze: Utilize data and market trends to conduct comprehensive analysis, informing the development of effective procurement strategies and supporting sound business case development.
• Negotiate: Engage actively with external suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, while also providing support for ongoing supplier performance management to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Partner: Work closely with international colleagues on global procurement efforts, contributing to significant process and system improvement projects across the organization.
• Contribute: Assist in developing comprehensive strategies aimed at efficiently delivering essential goods and services, ensuring alignment with Regeneron’s overarching business objectives.
• Support: Provide critical support for supplier selection processes, which includes evaluating potential suppliers and assisting with the drafting of contractual agreements.
• Rotate: Actively participate in a structured rotational program, moving through at least three distinct procurement roles across Global Category Teams, the Center of Excellence, and International Markets to build diverse expertise.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A four-year degree in supply chain management, completed within the last 12 months or expected this spring. This role is designed for recent university graduates.
• Experience: This is a two-and-a-half-year rotational program, including at least three distinct assignments. You will build procurement expertise through hands-on, cross-functional experience with guidance from a dedicated program lead, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong analytical skills, including the ability to visualize, articulate, and derive insights from complex data. Established organizational, planning, and project management capabilities are essential for managing multiple initiatives.
• Bonus: Highly developed written and verbal communication skills; comfort with various business systems and technology, including proficiency in AI and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); a strong sense of curiosity and a willingness to continuously learn and adapt.
