What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Oversight: Direct the daily activities of the distribution function, encompassing shipping, receiving, and inventory control, to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.
• Material Flow Management: Ensure timely material availability to meet production schedules and customer shipping requirements, overseeing material receipt from vendors, delivery to inventory, and proper packaging according to specifications.
• Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement across standard logistics processes, including replenishment, data interchange systems, and demand management, ensuring effective implementation of relevant functions.
• Strategic Contribution & Reporting: Generate comprehensive warehouse productivity and planning-related reports, adhere to budget requirements, and contribute to the development of new strategies for inventory management and distribution.
• Team & Facility Management: Maintain warehouse equipment through preventive maintenance programs and necessary repairs, ensure adherence to safety programs to provide a safe workplace, and implement appropriate HR strategies for a qualified and motivated workforce.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, with a focus on distribution, warehousing, or logistics.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in distribution, warehousing, or equivalent logistics functions.
• Skills:
• End-to-End Logistics and Distribution Management (including shipping, receiving, inventory control)
• Supply Chain Process Improvement and Strategic Planning (replenishment, demand management, data interchange)
• Operational Performance Analysis and Reporting (productivity reports, budget adherence, data presentation)
• Warehouse Safety and Equipment Maintenance Management
• Customer and Stakeholder Relationship Management for logistics resolution
• Bonus: Master’s degree.
