Wealth Management Practice Management Consultant | Zions Bank

The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-office role at Zions Bank, located in Salt Lake City, Houston, or Los Angeles. Zions Bank is a premier financial services company with a specialized Wealth Management division providing comprehensive services to affluent clients across high-growth Western markets. This role is crucial for acting as a strategic partner to drive team development, operational excellence, and continuous learning, ultimately enhancing team performance and the client experience throughout the wealth management lifecycle.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: In-person – Salt Lake City, Utah; Houston, Texas; or Los Angeles, California, United States
• Pay: $110000–$150000 yearly
• Team: Strategic partner to Market Leaders, Service Manager, Director of Financial Planning, and Director of Investment Management
• Mission: Drive team development, operational excellence, and continuous learning across the wealth management lifecycle.
• Tech Stack: Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, Seismic, data visualization tools, AI tools

What You’ll Actually Do
• Training & Education: Develop comprehensive onboarding and training programs for all core Wealth business lines, ensuring consistency and excellence.
• Client Material Curation: Lead the creation, review, and continuous improvement of client-facing content and presentations, ensuring clarity, compliance, and impact.
• Product Management: Evaluate existing platforms and proposed enhancements, providing well-reasoned recommendations for system changes or upgrades.
• Licensed Banker Program Oversight: Oversee the Licensed Banker Program, developing training, managing onboarding, and monitoring performance metrics.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships across advisor teams, support staff, and partners, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field with 6+ years of experience in practice management training, leadership development, onboarding, or customer/client service.
• Experience: 6+ years with practice management training, leadership development, onboarding, and customer/client service, preferably with experience managing, coaching, and driving team performance in a sales-oriented, client-facing environment.
• Skills: Exceptional communication, coaching, and analytical skills; proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results; proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, Seismic, and data visualization tools; ability to design and implement program onboarding and practice management plans.
• Bonus: Master’s degree preferred; familiarity with or expertise in leveraging AI tools; Series 7, 66, or combination of 65/63 licenses preferred.
