• Mission: Strengthen the Private Bank credit risk governance framework by maintaining and enhancing policies, procedures, controls, committee governance, and issues management, while coordinating internal, external, and regulatory examinations and providing independent challenge.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Governance: Lead credit risk governance initiatives and associated change management efforts.
• Coordinate Examinations: Coordinate end-to-end regulatory examinations, audits, and testing for Private Bank Credit Risk.
• Manage Inquiries: Serve as a key point of contact for regulators, auditors, and testing teams, leading meetings and coordinating responses to inquiries and drafting high-quality written responses.
• Assess and Remediate Controls: Assess credit risk controls, document observations, provide actionable recommendations, and drive timely remediation and sustainable enhancements for identified issues.
• Strengthen Committee Governance: Strengthen committee and forum governance by preparing materials, agendas, and minutes, and maintaining transparent tracking and reporting of audit and examination matters.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Professional experience in auditing, internal controls, regulatory strategy, compliance, legal, consulting, or credit analysis with a focus on credit risk, preferably within Wealth Management. This includes navigating complex methods across products and activities within the Wealth Management business model.
• Experience: Demonstrated strong understanding of credit risk concepts and controls, including direct underwriting and/or credit approval experience.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective engagement with regulators and senior management, strong project management, time management, and problem-solving abilities, and a proven capability to build relationships, collaborate, and provide credible challenge to drive actionable insights.
• Bonus: Advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; German language skills are a plus.
