Operations Management Associate 2027 – Food Manufacturing (Multiple U.S. Locations) | Cargill

What You’ll Actually Do
• Learn: Engage in a 6-12 month training program to understand various aspects of plant operations, including Environmental, Health & Safety leadership, engineering, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• Develop: Acquire the necessary skills and experience to lead diverse teams effectively as a plant Operations Supervisor.
• Support: Work within food processing facilities, experiencing varied temperatures and shifts, including weekends and on-call duties, to meet customer demand.
• Contribute: Provide solutions and collaborate within the team to ensure efficient and successful food manufacturing processes.
• Impact: Directly influence the provision of food to families and communities, contributing to the global food supply chain.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with one of the following qualifications: a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed or to be completed between May 2024 and Summer 2027; an Associate’s Degree with two years of relevant operational, mechanical, and/or leadership experience; an E-4 rank or higher in a military background; or four years of relevant operational, mechanical, and/or leadership experience.
• Experience: Right to work in the U.S. that is not solely based on a student visa or a third-party sponsored visa. Willingness and ability to relocate to various U.S. locations. Willingness to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts and weekends as needed.
• Skills: Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Capacity to contribute both independently and as part of a team.
• Bonus: Pursuing an agriculture or business-related degree, such as Animal Science, Ag-Economics, Ag-Business, Agronomy, Food Science, Meat Science, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Industrial Distribution.
