2027 MUFG 6 month Amsterdam internship: Japanese Corporate Banking | Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group
The Tone:
This is a 6-month internship at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, located in Amsterdam. MUFG is one of the world’s leading financial groups, striving to make a difference for every client, organization, and community globally by building long-term relationships and fostering sustainable growth. This internship offers a unique insight into international corporate banking, specifically supporting Japanese multinational clients across EMEA, and serves as a direct pipeline to the full-time Analyst Programme in Amsterdam upon completion of studies.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Present: Support the preparation of client presentations, proposals, and meeting materials.
• Research: Conduct company, industry, and market research.
• Analyze: Assist with credit analysis, portfolio monitoring, and internal reporting processes.
• Engage: Support client relationship activities and strategic business initiatives.
• Collaborate: Work closely with colleagues across Banking, Credit, Operations, and other business areas.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Final year undergraduate or postgraduate student. Entry-level. A strong interest in financial markets is required.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bonus: Fluent in Japanese (verbal and written), Fluent in Dutch, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Proactive, Motivated, Able to work effectively within a team, Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
